"What Is A Cupola?" You Ask!

Cupolas were originally used on farm and public buildings for ventilation. They were attractive, very functional and served as a perfect mount for a weathervane. Our cupolas make a handsome addition to any style building. In addition to improving appearance, cupolas are the best attic ventilator because they are installed on the rooftop ... the most efficient place to dispel hot moist air.

Cape Cod Cupolas' own exprienced craftsmen build these sturdy cupolas using solid Northern White Pine throughout. Cupolas are fully assembled and ready to mount on your roof just the way they arrive in the carton. Each Cupola is fitted and carefully assembled with pride, from start to finish, by one crafstman. All surfaces exposed to the weather are primed one coat after assembly to properly seal all joints and painted with two coats of high quality exterior paint. Unprimed cupolas are available for staining. (Specify when ordering.) Louver sections can be fully screened (at an additional charge) to keep out birds and insects. The standard roof protection is solid, everlasting copper... lifetime aluminum is available by special order only. Unfinished roof cupolas, with no protective roof covering, are available on some models for those who plan to supply and install their own finish roofing.
